I have started the migration over to a new host for my web sites this week. The host that I am using has a better control panel and a more organized structure for the way multiple sites are viewed when editing them. The old host, when viewed via my ftp client looked so unorganized. The new host organizes each site with its own directory. While the previous host had a main site and each add-on site was a directory within the account site.
Along with the new hosting I am moving the blogs to a self hosted wordpress database instead of the wordpress.com sites. The reason for this is that a self hosted site is not subject to public comments and the blog is seen via the Rapidweaver template instead of the wordpress stock template. On the wordpress.com site the visitor would only see the blog and not the rest of the site built with Rapidweaver.
